Who is responsible

This website is operated by Ely Cheikh Mohamed Vadel, trading as Mauritania Fixer, Nouakchott, Mauritania. You can reach me at the email address shown on the contact page.

What is collected

When you send a brief through a form, the following is stored: the information you type (name, email, optional phone, organization, dates, locations and your message), the language of the page, the time of submission, and a shortened version of your IP address used only to prevent abuse.

This website does not use analytics or advertising cookies. A technical cookie is set only for administrators who log in.

Why it is used

Your information is used only to assess your request, reply to you and prepare a proposal. It is never sold or used for marketing lists.

Who can see it

Form submissions are stored in the website's administration area and sent by email to Mauritania Fixer. The website and email are hosted by Namecheap, Inc. (United States), and email may be forwarded to a mailbox operated by Yahoo. No other third party receives your data unless you ask me to involve a partner (for example a driver or guide), and then only what is needed.

How long it is kept

Submissions are kept for up to 24 months and then deleted automatically, unless we start working together, in which case the information becomes part of our professional correspondence. Messages identified as spam are deleted after 30 days.

Your rights

You can ask at any time what information is held about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or withdraw your consent to be contacted. Write to the email address on the contact page; requests are answered within 30 days.

Sensitive documents

Do not send passports, identity documents or confidential production documents through the public forms. If documents are needed for a permit file, you will receive instructions for a secure channel.
